THE LASER

SEE YOUR STROKE LIKE NEVER BEFORE.

I'm exploring the idea of opening a dedicated billiards training and practice space built around The Laser — and I want to know if players would actually use it.

Take a minute to see how it would work, then give me your honest opinion. No name. No email. Just feedback.

The concept

WHAT IS THE LASER?

Pool is an extremely precise game, but much of the way players understand their stroke is based on feel.

What a player believes is straight, centered, aligned or repeatable may not always match what is actually happening during the delivery of the cue.

The Laser is intended to provide a clear visual reference that helps expose those differences.

It is not designed to magically fix someone's stroke. It's designed to help players see what their stroke is actually doing, giving them better information to guide their practice.

The goal is to help perception and reality come into better alignment.

The proposed model

HOW IT WOULD WORK

1

GET ON THE LASER

A player would start with an approximately 90-minute guided session. During that session you'd learn how to use the system, establish a baseline, get another set of eyes on your stroke and mechanics, and learn how to interpret what you're seeing.

$100 INITIAL SESSION

$25 deposit to reserve the appointment

2

UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU'RE SEEING

The Laser can help make small alignment, delivery and consistency issues easier to see. The purpose isn't to force every player into one "perfect" stroke — it's to provide clearer information about what is actually happening.

3

COME BACK AND PRACTICE

After the initial session, approved players could reserve the room for independent practice. The room would be reserved privately for that customer's scheduled time, booked online, with entry through a controlled access arrangement such as a key card or another approved method.

$25 / HOUR SOLO PRACTICE

Fit

WHO COULD USE IT?

The Laser isn't limited to advanced players.

Newer players may benefit from having fewer deeply ingrained habits to work around.

More experienced players who feel they've plateaued — or who sometimes struggle to reconcile what they feel with what happens on the table — may also find the diagnostic feedback useful.

Different players may get different things from it. The question I am trying to answer right now is simple: would players actually want access to something like this?

WOULD YOU USE THE LASER?

Be honest. This page exists because I want real feedback before committing to opening the facility.
